| William L. Buchanan, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, is the founder of North Point Psychology, which began in 2001. Prior to moving his practice to Alpharetta, Dr. Buchanan practiced in Gainesville, GA for 14 years, working for Northeast Georgia Medical Center for three years before going into independent practice. He specializes in clinical child psychology, family therapy, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and adoption. He provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults, and couples therapy. He is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Buchanan provides comprehensive psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations, and objectively assesses the effects of medication to treat ADHD. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Clinical Alcohol
and Drug Counselor. She is a member of the Collaborative
Family Healthcare Association and a Clinical Member of the American
Association of Marriage and Family Therapy where she has served
on the Board in a variety of positions for several years .
She is trained to work with individuals, couples and families around a
variety of problems with specialties including: marital conflict,
divorce, remarriage and blending families; depression, anxiety, coping
with illness, grief, and loss; women's issues, parenting skills (with
particular expertise around adolescent concerns); transitional issues

former Director of the Georgia Baptist Healthcare Services Cumming
Counseling Center, and has practiced in Europe with American Military
Families stationed at the Air Force Headquarters in Ramstein, Germany
before beginning practice again in Alpharetta. She is a graduate
of Mercer University School of Medicine where she obtained the honor

H. Perleberg, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in child and adolescent assessment, and therapy with individual and families. Dr. Perleberg earned her Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in developmental disabilities through Emory University. Dr. Perleberg is experienced in assessment with
learning disabilities, attention problems, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorders, and a wide range of developmental
