William L. Buchanan,
Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist,
is
the founder of North Point Psychology, which began in 2001.
Prior to moving his practice to Alpharetta, Dr. Buchanan
practiced in Gainesville, for 14 years, working for Northeast Georgia
Medical Center for three years before going into independent practice. He specializes in clinical child psychology,
family therapy, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and
adoption. He provides individual and family therapy for children,
adolescents and adults, and couples therapy.
He is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor for the American
Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Atlanta.
Dr. Buchanan provides comprehensive psychological, and neuropsychological
evaluations, and objectively assesses the effects of medication to
treat ADHD. He is a Board Certified Custody Evaluator, conducts
forensic evaluations, and frequently serves as an expert witness for the
courts.
Dr. Buchanan is on the Editorial Board of The American Journal
of Family Therapy and co-authored The Dictionary of Family
Psychology and Family Therapy.

Nina Laltrello, LMFT, CCADC,
is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Clinical
Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is a member of the Collaborative
Family Healthcare Association and a Clinical Member of the American
Association of Marriage and Family Therapy where she has served on the
Board in a variety of positions for several years . She is
trained to work with individuals, couples and families around a
variety of problems with specialties including: marital conflict,
divorce, remarriage and blending
families; depression, anxiety, coping with illness, grief, and loss;
women's issues, parenting skills (with particular expertise around
adolescent concerns); transitional issues (e.g. births, empty nest,
unemployment, relocation) spiritual concerns, and substance abuse and
addiction. In over 12 years of practice she has been
affiliated with Catholic Social Services, was former Director of the
Georgia Baptist Healthcare Services Cumming Counseling Center, and has
practiced in Europe with American Military Families stationed at the
Air Force Headquarters in Ramstein, Germany before beginning practice
again. She is a graduate of Mercer University
School of Medicine where she obtained the honor of Most Outstanding
Student in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Stephanie
H. Perleberg, Ph.D.,
is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in child and adolescent
assessment, and therapy with individual and families. Dr. Perleberg earned
her Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University
and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. She
completed a postdoctoral fellowship in developmental disabilities through
Emory University. Dr. Perleberg is experienced in assessment with
learning disabilities, attention problems, acquired brain injury,
autism spectrum disorders, and a wide range
of developmental disabilities. Her expertise in therapy includes
parenting issues, adolescent / adult social and personal
growth,
anxiety and
stress management, and relationship concerns.

Georgia Psychological Association, and the Learning Disabilities

Shack, M.S., LMFT,
is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in practice for
over 10 years. She specializes in divorce, relationship conflict,
children's issues, life transitions and women's issues.
She uses Play Therapy with children and counsels with couples

families in transition (new baby, teenage years, children

Therapy and is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families

received her undergraduate degree from Samford University and a master's degree
in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She comes to the
counseling field with 30 years of nursing experience. Laura's personal

as well as child and family therapy. Dr. Joyner combines over 20
years of experience in the mental health field with her expertise in
transpersonal psychology in working with individuals regarding mood
disorders, dissociative disorders, anxiety and phobias,
life coaching, and women's issues psychologists..
