Our physicians have performed thousands of hernia repairs, both open and laparoscopic. We focus on minimizing the possibility of a recurrence (our 3 year recurrence rate is less than 1%). Procedures are done as an outpatient, often using sedation and local anesthesia (twilight sleep), in order to minimize the side effects of anesthesia.
