Colonoscopy – the best method to evaluate all colon disease. It can also be used to remove potentially harmful polyps. The procedure is done under sedation to make it essentially painless.  Flexible Sigmoidoscopy – a brief office procedure that screens for potentially more troublesome colon conditions, such as polyps and cancer.
