Dr. Stechison provides the full spectrum of adult neurosurgical services for disorders of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. Dr. Stechison has extensive experience in the surgery of brain tumors, and cranial nerve disorders such as trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, having previously served as the Neurosurgical Director of the Center for Cranial Base Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In addition Dr. Stechison treats back and neck pain, Peripheral Nerve Entrapment-Carpal Tunnel and Ulnar Nerve, as well as providing both minimally invasive and complex spine surgery services, surgical management of pain including spinal stimulators, and pumps. Injection procedures for PAIN including Botox and Lumbar Epidurals. Greater Atlanta Neurosurgical offers minimally invasive and complex spine surgery for degenerative disease, trauma, tumor, and infection. Vertebroplasty is one new procedure spine specialists may use to treat osteoporosis vertebral fractures. Vertebroplasty not only works to help stabilize spinal fractures but also helps to alleviate pain and improve the patient’s quality of life.
